Big Deals This Week at Direct2Drive

In case you didn’t know, Direct2Drive is celebrating Publisher’s Week by offering some pretty stellar discounts on a few different levels.

First, every day from now until Sunday will feature a 2K Games product at a discounted price. Read on for more details!

  • Tuesday – BioShock 2 is 50% off.
  • Wednesday – Major League Baseball 2K10 is 75% off.
  • Thursday – Civilization IV: The Complete Edition is 75% off.
  • Friday – The Stronghold Collection is 75% off.
  • Saturday – Borderlands Game of the Year Edition is 50% off.
  • Sunday – Sid Meier’s Civilization V is 25% off.

Furthermore, their $2 Tuesday deals this week include:

  • Garden Defense: Join the Smith family and take out swarms of plant-hungry insects as they threaten the town of Lindencroft in this tower-defense game.
  • The Rise of Atlantis: Gather the seven powers of an Atlantean god in a puzzle game that takes gamers from ancient Greece to mythical Troy
  • Crayon Physics Deluxe: Use your imagination to solve puzzles and transform colored drawings into creative objects through more than 70 levels.

I highly recommend Crayon Physics Deluxe for two reasons. One, it’s easily the greatest crayon-based physics game ever. And two, it’s usually priced at $19.95. If you say no to anything ever being 90% off, you’re daft. That’s all I’m saying.

Also new to D2D this week is Test Drive Unlimited 2, which boasts 2,000 miles of racing, an immersive single-player story mode, and addictive online play. Although I haven’t personally played any of the games in the series, I hear they’re pretty good.

So get on those deals. They won’t be lasting forever.

About Marooners’ Rock

Everyone grows up; this is how the world works. Just because we grow decrepit and old, however, does not mean we have to forsake the things that make us happy, childish though they may seem. This is the core concept of Marooners’ Rock; we geek out on the things of our past, present, and future. Society and cultural norms be damned!
