Hot on the heels of the completion of the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier multiplayer beta completion, and slipping in just before the retail launch, Ubisoft has announced a multiplayer beta for their upcoming title, Far Cry 3. Similar to the original timeline for the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier multiplayer beta, the Far Cry 3 multiplayer beta is scheduled to run for two weeks, sometime this summer. It will be a closed beta, with access granted through multiple methods:
- Purchase of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier from GameStop using a PowerUp Rewards membership
- Enter to win one of five hundred keys via Facebook.
- Keep your eyes open through Ubisoft’s social channels (Ubi.com, Farcrygame.com, and social/community/media websites)
The beta will host up to sixteen players in a match, with six playable classes and multiple modes, weapons, etc. to choose from.
