With any game including Call of Duty we know that DLC is incoming at some point. I’m hoping that at least the first DLC lands soon on the game Call of Duty: Ghosts, which will provide more fun between me and friends online. Today, it seems there was a slight screw up in the terms of a mass email that went out to Call of Duty fans. The said email that you can view below lists that names of the upcoming possible DLC packs.
This email was sent to fans, but shortly after the email has been coming in without the names of the possible map packs. It’s sad news that the email was pulled, but when it comes to something being on the internet it’s already there for all to view so this picture will most likely spread like a wildfire. If you’ve been wondering what the DLC may or may not be called just look at the picture provided below. At this time we’ll be taking these names as rumor until officially announced by the company.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, a mere few weeks away, will (perhaps unsurprisingly) be launching with a DLC season pass. The $19.99 season pass (advertised as a 20% savings off compared to purchasing each piece individually) will feature a Kraken Ship pack (exclusive to season pass owners), additional single-player missions/weapons/skins/collectibles, additional multiplayer characters, and a new single-player story focusing on Adewale, Captain Edward Kenway’s second in command aboard the Jackdaw. The adventure promises over three hours of gameplay, with a trailer for Freedom Cry (Adewale’s adventure) featured below. Read the full story

Are you looking forward to creating your character in Saints Row IV? Well you can get started as of today creating your custom character (mine looks like a total bad-ass with pictures to come via my Twitter). After doing so you’ll be able to import the creation to your game once it has been released. Now you may be asking yourself, where do I go to download said program?
First you can simply click here, and you’ll be taken to the Xbox.com page to download said item. If you don’t want to do that you can look for the Saints Row IV page on Xbox.com and download that way. If you’re a PC gamer I’ve heard that if you load up Steam, and visit (http://store.steampowered.com/app/242590/) or you can simply search Saints Row IV to find it as well. In the meantime get downloading and share your creations with @Marooner_Rock on Twitter. We’d love to see what awesome looks you come up with.
With less than a month to go, Ubisoft has released a trailer that really demonstrates the diversity of Splinter Cell Blacklist’s gameplay options. Play as a Ghost, completing the missions and leaving no trace of your presence other than success. Play as an Assault specialist, forgoing stealth entirely and wrecking everything you see. Play as a Panther, moving invisibly but leaving a trail of bodies. Change your style to fit the mission or your mood. Read the full story

Everyone grows up; this is how the world works. Just because we grow decrepit and old, however, does not mean we have to forsake the things that make us happy, childish though they may seem. This is the core concept of Marooners’ Rock; we geek out on the things of our past, present, and future. Society and cultural norms be damned!
