Review: Fable Heroes (XBLA)


I’m not sure what happened between Peter Molyneux and one chicken whose viciousness and fowlness (heh, get it?) we can only assume were such that the world has never seen before. All I know is that it resulted in the common chicken being singled out and having one hell of a hard time in the Fable universe. From a player stat specifically urging the player to kick a chicken farther and farther each time to the poor chicken getting struck by lightning in the opening titles of Fable Heroes, Fable is not kind. Marooners’ Talk: Episode 023 – “Looking Forward”


The original idea for this episode of the Marooners’ Talk podcast was to really get into our anticipated titles for the rest of calendar year 2012. While we eventually got around to that, I believe our first 30-45 minutes focused on Internet providers, Doctor Who, used games, and various other topics. Arcade Next Starting April 18th


First, there was Summer of Arcade. With the success of the Summer of Arcade promotion, Microsoft threw their first annual House Party. Now, it seems that a third event is being introduced with some big titles in the mix. Arcade Next, as it’s being called, kicks off April 18th and sees a new top notch title released each week through May 9th. What sets this event apart? It seems that this event will debut the new 400 achievement point limit for arcade games, and up to 30 achievements each. Read the full story
