As discussed on Episode 27 of the MehCast, we have been considering a schedule change for a little while now.  Friday is generally a busy night for people, and we’ve been turning down a lot of family and friend invites because of the show. Add onto that our lower Friday night viewer base, and you get a schedule change!

We’ll be moving the MehCast to Sundays at 2:00pm Pacific (5:00pm Eastern). We’ll give this time slot a trial run of at least three weeks, then decide what we’ll do from there! Good morning!  We’re very sorry that we had to miss last night’s MehCast, but with the Blogathon, a wedding celebration party for Lindsey and I tonight, and two of my very good friends coming in to town to stay with us for the weekend, we had quite a lot going on!

I spent most of Wednesday night, Thursday night, and Friday afternoon at my mom’s house helping her clean up for the party.  Lindsey worked on the apartment a lot, but there was still much to be done, so we powered through it Friday night!  We will resume our MehCast this coming Friday, July 31, 2009 at 7:00pm Pacific (10:00pm Eastern), same Meh time, same Meh channel.  New readers, please stop by!  We have a lot of fun, and so would you!

More than anything else, I usually slack on the recap posts.  Well, this week I’m slacking less than usual!

Episode 26 told everyone about our entrance into the upcoming Blogathon this Saturday, as well as covering a few stories from our lives.  We went over some demos and games we got our hands on, and talked about our advance screening of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (review was posted a week ago).  It was a fairly standard episode.

Another episode has come and gone!  Episode 25 was one of our shorter episodes, as we had a very slow news week.  We did, however, spend a great deal of our week revamping the appearance and features of our blog!  We’ve also signed ourselves up for the Blogathon, starting at 6:00am on July 25th, with a new post every half hour for 24 hours!  Make sure to check us out on that day (and every other day, of course).

Episode 25 covered a few items, such as our advance screening tickets for Harry Potter, some funny web videos, a handful of games we played, movies we watched, and tv shows we viewed.  We also talked about the upcoming Nine Inch Nails shows and the TOOL concert coming up in August down in Pomona, CA.

We kept ourselves on schedule for a second week in a row!  Following the macabre previous week, we had another big death: Billy Mays.  He had appeared on Conan just a few nights prior, doing fine.  We talked about Lindsey’s surprise birthday party, and our awesome Xbox 360 Elite that my mom got for our birthdays (mine is in October, so it’s very early)!  We also had fun talking about our dog’s spectacular diarrhea.  We talked about a bunch of other stuff, so go watch the saved episode to see it all!

The MehCast was missed for a couple of weeks because of life issues, but we came back last night and had a blast!  We unfortunately had to talk about the deaths of Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson.  We discussed our brand new kitten, Moogle, the Iran protests, Lindsey’s birthday (coming up on Monday! don’t forget to say Happy Birthday!), iPhone 3.0 software, and a bunch of movie and video game news!

Holy crap, we skipped two weeks of shows!  We tried, but just weren’t able to get it right the last two weeks.  Third time’s the charm, though, and we WILL be broadcasting tonight at 7:00pm PST (10:00pm EST).  Check us out at http://www.justin.tv/worldofmeh/.  We’ve really missed doing the show for the last two weeks, and we’re really looking forward to getting back on the air tonight!  We’ve had a very eventful, stressful, and time consuming few months, and unfortunately, not only had it affected our MehCast schedule, but our blog output as well.  We’ve gotten ourselves back on track with our blog output, and now we’re getting back on track with the MehCast, so be sure to be there, TONIGHT!

If you’re not there, we’ll know, and it will make us quite sad.  Have you ever seen a 6’1″, 220 pound Middle Eastern man with a big, manly, super manly, awesome beard cry?  It’s pretty weird.  I wouldn’t recommend it.  SO MAKE SURE IT DOESN’T HAPPEN!

A few weeks ago on our MehCast, I brought up something that seemed pretty disturbing. While Chris and I were driving around in town, I kept seeing little signs for a website called Bad Donkey Wrestling. I’m a pretty imaginative person, and sometimes my mind goes into the gutter… well actually, it goes into the gutter a lot. I can’t help it. That’s just how my brain is wired. Anyways, as soon as I read the words “Bad Donkey Wrestling,” my mind was filled with the strangest images and jokes.

One might wonder what a bad donkey would look like. Maybe he could be a donkey with a villainous moustache. Maybe he could be a donkey decked out in S&M garb. Or maybe, he could be a donkey with a Billy Idol quality about him. Either way you look at it, it’s pretty funny.

Now try and picture somebody wrestling with any of the donkeys mentioned above. It would probably look like something that would only be found in a place like Tijuana, but I will spare you all with the nasty details.

When I got home that night, after initially seeing the signs, I went straight to the computer because I just had to see what it was all about. I was thankful that I wasn’t exposed to some gross beastiality website, however I was disappointed that I wasn’t given a site that I could really make fun of. I will say that the image of the guy that’s on the home page is a little strange, but nothing that I could really get snarky about.

- She Who Has The Last Word

We are very sorry that Episode 23 was put off last week!  Lindsey had a last minute work event to attend, and it just isn’t the same without both of us there.  It doesn’t feel right to us to do it alone.  Throw on a busy weekend with a new pet, and the show just got left behind.  Coming up this week (June 19th), we have our one year engagement anniversary on Friday, so we will not be broadcasting that night.  We will be broadcasting Episode 23 of the MehCast on Sunday, June 21st, at 7:00pm PST (10:00pm EST) @ http://www.justin.tv/worldofmeh/.  Sorry for our erratic schedule over the last couple of months!  Once we get past this week, we should be back on a regular weekly schedule for a good long time!
