So I was browsing around this gaming press site I am a member of, looking for press releases and what not, and all of a sudden I saw this little blurb about a Resident Evil trailer for Nintendo 3DS. Oh reallllllly…..
Resident Evil has always been a favorite for me, but they lost me with RE:5. I just wasn’t feeling it, but I think Revelations might be something pretty awesome. The trailer is a little short, shows off no gameplay, and I’m unclear if the scenes shown are in-game. Some gripes on other websites are the changes done to Jill Valentine’s look, but fans are digging Chris Redfield.
Here is where I get a little thrown off: There is a guy sitting in a chair, but I can’t tell who he is. Jill asks Chris if he has something, but Chris says that she will have to kill him in order to find out. Could that possibly be a strain of the virus, and by killing him he turns into a zombie? Finally, the last line of dialogue is of the guy in the chair saying how it doesn’t matter because they are already….and that’s it. If I had to put money on it, I’d bet that the word needed to finish that sentence would be ‘dead’. I could be totally wrong though.
Either way, check out the trailer below. It’s truly gorgeous, and this is a title I’ll be looking forward to.

Hello there World of Meh! readers. Last month I told you all that we would be doing the Blogathon again this year. I also hinted at what our charity would be. I did get a couple of guesses, but nobody got it right. With sign-ups officially starting on July 1st, I figured I should let you all in on who we have chosen this year. Think you know who it could be?
I’m proud to announce that this year, World of Meh! will be blogging for One Love For Chi. Both Chris and I are big fans of Deftones, and I’ve been following Chi Cheng’s medical progress for some time. For those of you who are unaware, Chi was in a terrible car accident back in 2008 that left him in a coma. Through his family’s hard work, love, and dedication to his recovery, Chi is now in a mildly conscious state. If any of you are familiar with how expensive medical bills can be, you can begin to imagine how expensive its been for his loved ones.
Chi has an opportunity to go to a state of the art facility in New Jersey where he will be under the care of some amazing neurologists. Those neurologists were even featured on a recent episode of MTV’s True Life: I Have A Traumatic Brain Injury that aired on May 3rd. The treatment Chi would receive has an 80% success rate, but like everything else, this will cost money. One Love For Chi has been furiously trying to raise the funds necessary through auctions, concert benefits, songs and CD’s made specially for this, and through donations. As of today, they have managed to raise over $5,000 of the $500,000 needed. Here is where we come in.
Due to our current situation, Chris and I are unable to contribute financially. We can, however, donate our time, and the Blogathon is a perfect way to do so. While I can’t go into too much detail right now regarding our big plans, just know that we have some tricks up our sleeve. I’m working on getting some pretty incredible prizes to give away during the Blogathon, but you must donate in order to be entered. More information on how that will work will be posted on July 1st, and details about the prizes and more will trickle in throughout July.
Chi Cheng has given us beautiful and amazing music, so the least we can do is help out and hope that our readers and their friends can donate whatever they can. I’m really excited to be doing this, and I really hope that we can all come together for this amazing cause. I also ask that you help spread the word, and get as much buzz going because that will help us make the Blogathon successful.
So, there you have it. The charity we’ve chosen is One Love For Chi, and I can’t wait for when I have more good news to share!
Headup Chi!

And the good news just keeps on coming! Today BioWare announced the next DLC installment for the popular game Dragon Age: Origins. Last month fans were able to play as a Hurlock Vanguard in Darkspawn Chronicles, and now we get to take a peek into Leliana’s past.
If you’ve played Dragon Age: Origins, you will know that Leliana used to be quite the naughty girl, and worked for a woman named Marjolaine. In Leliana’s Song, you will accompany Marjolaine on a high-risk mission, as Leliana of course, but things spiral out of control and you are left with this decision: kill or be killed. Here are more details from the official press release:
Available on July 6th for Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 there has been no official price announced yet. I assume it will be the standard 400 Microsoft Points and whatever the equivalent will be for PC and PS3. I can only hope that this DLC is better than Return to Ostagar and Darkspawn Chronicles.

Hello All!
It’s an honor to be one of the chosen writers for this amazing website of geekery and nerdology. I’m only beginning to learn what it takes to be a part of something greater than myself, and this seems to be the opportunity I’ve needed to spread my wings and assess my thoughts on such things as books, comics, film, and all the other forms of media that have spawned some of the most creative geniuses of our time. My name is Ashley (Sometimes Ashe for short), but I’m better known across the world wide web as ‘nonethericher‘. I’m a published writer and aspiring filmmaker. I’m also a student soon to be studying Mass Media, which is why I believe being a part of this website will be a good decision in the long run. Practice makes perfect, after all. I will post here as often as I’m able and feel free to leave comments, joke around, and discuss the pop culture that has forever changed our lives. I’m a pretty laid back person and can’t wait to get to know the readers and guests. Peace Out!
~Ashley~

Finally a Facebook Fan Page has been created for World of Meh! I know it’s a little long overdue, but in all honesty we haven’t been doing much with the site. Since we are now giving it another go, why not create a Fan Page?
We’ve said time and time again how we want to create a community, and this is just another step closer to that goal. So, if you have a Facebook, and if you like our site enough to give us a nifty thumbs up, please add us! Be sure to spread the word to your friends too. We love meeting new people!
