League of Legends Tribunal System: A Sign of Things to Come?

In an effort to combat the abundance of malefic and inappropriate behavior in their popular online multiplayer game League of Legends, Riot Games Inc. introduced a disciplinary system known as the Tribunal on May 24. This system allows players the ability to judge their peers who have been reported for violating the Summoners’ Code – a set of rules published by Riot to ensure courteous play and a friendly community. The installment of this program into an online multiplayer game’s community is a unique approach in stopping unwanted behavior.

About a week ago, I received a Steam announcements for a new puzzle-platformer, CreaVures, from Muse Games (you might know them for Guns of Icarus).  As soon as I saw the first moments of the trailer, I knew I was going to buy this game!  Imagine my surprise, when I received an email the next day, offering me a chance to review it! It’s nothing personal, you know; it’s just that your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries. Now go away or I shall taunt you a second time. Read the full story

Review: Civilization V

Albert Einstein commented once that civilization would not be wiped out in a war fought with the atomic bomb. Perhaps two-thirds of the people of the earth would be killed. Review: Puzzle Agent (PC)

Recently, Telltale Games released Puzzle Agent. While the name sounds relatively simple and safe, don’t let it fool you. This game was absolutely insane.

About Marooners’ Rock

Everyone grows up; this is how the world works. Just because we grow decrepit and old, however, does not mean we have to forsake the things that make us happy, childish though they may seem. This is the core concept of Marooners’ Rock; we geek out on the things of our past, present, and future. Society and cultural norms be damned!
