Can you sing Soft Kitty? The catchy tune that Sheldon’s mother, and later, Sheldon’s neighbor Penny, would sing to him when he was sick has become yet another in a long line of memorable sitcom songs based on cats, following in the august footsteps of Friends’ quirky ditty, “Smelly Cat,” and…well, there’s probably another weird song about cats from another sitcom. I love The Big Bang Theory. Chris loves The Big Bang Theory. We watch it religiously every week when new episodes are on, and can’t wait for its return on its new Thursday time slot starting on September 23rd at 8:00. So far we’ve had Evil Wil Wheaton, the amazing Stan Lee, and others, but nothing could prepare us for the gloriousness of George Takei.

We recently got our hands on the first season of The Big Bang Theory.  We had seen a couple of episodes previously, but no more than a smattering.  We have heard really good things about the series, and decided to give it a full shot.

This show is brilliant.  It’s hilarious, intelligent, and all around awesome.  We definitely recommend it if you find nerd and geek humor at all interesting.
