Some of you may have noticed that our recent streak of weekday productivity was broken yesterday.  Do not take this as a sign of things to come!  We had a catastrophe on Sunday (which Lindsey will go into more detail on later in the day), and we had a family member come to stay with us yesterday after a minor surgery, so our attention has, unfortunately, been directed elsewhere.  But hey, this counts as new content, so we’re back on track!  Make sure to keep an eye out for at least two more posts today!

So last week I made a post about me being sick. I am happy to announce that whatever germs decided to inhabit my body last week have been eradicated, and I can actually breathe!

I hate being sick, and I don’t know what happened, but I was down for almost all of last week. It happened at a bad time too since I had to worry about my daughters birthday party, which happened on Saturday. Fortunately I felt better the day before, and the party went off perfectly. What boggles my mind is that Chris didn’t get sick at all! I rarely go out of the house, so Chris is exposed to more germs on a daily basis than I am in an entire week. One theory was that I got it from the Iron Man 2 midnight premiere we went to. The other theory is that my immune system secretly hates me and has it out for me.

Either way, I have slept better the past couple of nights, I can breathe properly, I’m not waking up in the middle of the night coughing, and I haven’t been that nauseated! Huzzah! Buh-bye Germies!

The end comes for us all, and unfortunately, it seems that the end has come for the World of Meh.  To be fair, the end has been here for quite some time, sipping on tea in the lounge, waiting only for a formal introduction.  Well, ladies and gentlemen (all none of you, at this point), allow me the honor and privilege of introducing our dear friend, The End!

This will, most likely, be the last post on the World of Meh site.  The World of Meh has been heavily neglected over the past few months.  Lindsey’s last post was in July of 2009, and I have only contributed 30 posts (including this one) since that time, on a very inconsistent schedule.  I have tried over this period of time to be more productive with regard to the World of Meh, but the site was created for a purpose, and that purpose has long since been abandoned.  A backup has been made of the site’s content, and may one day be uploaded on a new endeavor as an archive, but until then, the World of Meh will have to exist solely in our hearts and minds, and a small .xml file on a portable hard drive.  The site will not be maintained beyond an undetermined point in the near future, as it currently costs $25/month just to keep the server active for something that is so obviously unused.

You can visit Chris online on Twitter, but his e-presence is otherwise, for the time being, e-homeless.  Fear not, dear readers (who the fuck am I kidding with this shit?), I will, in time, find my way to a new home online where my words can spew forth like vomit into a bucket known as the Internet.


I wonder how long it will take for any of you to see this.  $20 says nobody even notices when the site finally goes offline.

It has been over three months since my last post, over five months since Lindsey’s last post, and boy do we have a lot of catch-up to do!

First things first, though.  Let’s have a new talk about our update schedule, shall we?  I know, I know, you’ve heard it all before, but this time will be different.  We promise!  We can change, if you just give us a chance!

Right.  Well, originally we wanted to do at least one post per day, 7 days per week, 52 weeks per year.  This, as you can see for yourself, has obviously not worked out quite as planned.  It seems that when we set a rigorous, strict schedule for ourselves, we tend to burn out and fail.  So, in the spirit of doing things half-assed, we won’t set a strict schedule!  We may end up posting once per day, but it won’t be intentionally planned that way.  I find it unlikely that a week will go by with no posts, but it just might happen, depending on circumstances.

Keep on the lookout for new posts over the next few days!  We’re just finishing up a video game that I was looking forward to for a very long time, and…well…actually, I guess that’s about all I can think of right now!  See you guys soon!

As discussed on Episode 27 of the MehCast, we have been considering a schedule change for a little while now.  Friday is generally a busy night for people, and we’ve been turning down a lot of family and friend invites because of the show. Add onto that our lower Friday night viewer base, and you get a schedule change!

We’ll be moving the MehCast to Sundays at 2:00pm Pacific (5:00pm Eastern). We’ll give this time slot a trial run of at least three weeks, then decide what we’ll do from there! Good morning!  We’re very sorry that we had to miss last night’s MehCast, but with the Blogathon, a wedding celebration party for Lindsey and I tonight, and two of my very good friends coming in to town to stay with us for the weekend, we had quite a lot going on!

I spent most of Wednesday night, Thursday night, and Friday afternoon at my mom’s house helping her clean up for the party.  Lindsey worked on the apartment a lot, but there was still much to be done, so we powered through it Friday night!  We will resume our MehCast this coming Friday, July 31, 2009 at 7:00pm Pacific (10:00pm Eastern), same Meh time, same Meh channel.  New readers, please stop by!  We have a lot of fun, and so would you!

Holy crap, we skipped two weeks of shows!  We tried, but just weren’t able to get it right the last two weeks.  Third time’s the charm, though, and we WILL be broadcasting tonight at 7:00pm PST (10:00pm EST).  Check us out at http://www.justin.tv/worldofmeh/.  We’ve really missed doing the show for the last two weeks, and we’re really looking forward to getting back on the air tonight!  We’ve had a very eventful, stressful, and time consuming few months, and unfortunately, not only had it affected our MehCast schedule, but our blog output as well.  We’ve gotten ourselves back on track with our blog output, and now we’re getting back on track with the MehCast, so be sure to be there, TONIGHT!

If you’re not there, we’ll know, and it will make us quite sad.  Have you ever seen a 6’1″, 220 pound Middle Eastern man with a big, manly, super manly, awesome beard cry?  It’s pretty weird.  I wouldn’t recommend it.  SO MAKE SURE IT DOESN’T HAPPEN!

We are very sorry that Episode 23 was put off last week!  Lindsey had a last minute work event to attend, and it just isn’t the same without both of us there.  It doesn’t feel right to us to do it alone.  Throw on a busy weekend with a new pet, and the show just got left behind.  Coming up this week (June 19th), we have our one year engagement anniversary on Friday, so we will not be broadcasting that night.  We will be broadcasting Episode 23 of the MehCast on Sunday, June 21st, at 7:00pm PST (10:00pm EST) @ http://www.justin.tv/worldofmeh/.  Sorry for our erratic schedule over the last couple of months!  Once we get past this week, we should be back on a regular weekly schedule for a good long time!

Good morning, world!

I’d like to apologize to our readers (if we have any, which I sincerely doubt) for our recent lack of activity.  We started off strong, followed by two weeks with only two posts.  Today marks the beginning of an attempt to change the trend set by the past two weeks of non-activity.  At least once per day, be it from Lindsey or myself, there will be new content posted to the World of Meh.  There may be days where we miss a post, such as this coming Saturday when we will be in San Francisco all day, but an extra post will be made on Friday or Sunday to make up for the missing day’s minimum.  Hopefully with this consistency set in place, our reader base can grow into a community of people around the world who have nothing to say, but somewhere to say it.
